Your corrugation tips are on the mark.I also have a Warn winch in my -79 Blazer, and now I have learned to test it before going off road, as it has had enough troubles already; the winch motor has been corroded twice, and the relay box also twice, and actually I found out that again only (fortunately) “in” direction works. All my other 4×4:s have cheap chinese winches that just work, period. So, perhaps there is a good reason to pay much for a winch, I just not have found out what that is. At least it is not the reliability. But these videos are so much fun to watch, the seemingly endless possibilities to find epic trails, too bad I live almost exactly on the other side of the globe, in Finland
